I had a restless night last night and I really did not get out of bed. However, my cleaning lady comes at 8:30 and I needed to come down and open the door for her. With a lot of groaning and grunting, I dragged myself out of bed. With sleepy eyes, I peered at the clock next to the bed. That warranted another groan. She would be coming any minute! No time to take a shower. I barely had time to splash some water on my face, brush my teeth, comb my hair, and put on a dress. Once downstairs, I filled the bowl for the cats, heated some tea in the microwave, and opened the back door. The weather was so beautiful, I decided to drink my tea there. I brought out my book and tea and sat on the park bench. This way, I could wait for her in a leisurely manner. As I did so, I heard a soft little noise. It was Jadey having her morning meal. My cleaning lady never showed up. I checked my messages. She had left a message telling me she could not make it. If I had looked earlier, I would have stayed in bed. Instead, I decided to potter around in the garden. Andrea had brought the pups at the crack of dawn, before she left for work. I let them out. We all wandered about the garden for a while. What a lovely morning it turned out to be!
